Importance of the Black Rhino
Scientifically the Black Rhino is important because of many reasons. One reason is because it is prey to the lion and hyena. The lions and hyenas are able to live without the rhinos, but they are a big food source. Another reason why they are important to humans is because of their medicinal help. Another important reason is that rhinos help our ecosystem; they actually help grass grow. When the Black Rhino eats the trees and branches it makes the sun show through, which lets the grass grow. Many animals eat grass, so the Rhinos DO help in the ecosystem.
In a Christian perspective rhinos are important because overall they show us how powerful God is. When people are learning about God we want them to see that he is powerful through animals and with animals fading everyday they have less of a chance to see that. Another reason is because they help people live with their medicinal help. As Christians with those people being helped to survive they have more and more of a chance to become a Christian or become closer to God.
